a digital business card, but fun

Cimni.
Tap.
Save.

A business card that fits on an NFC card, in a QR code and in an email. Hold your phone to it and the contact is in the phone book, on iPhone and on Android. No app, no paper, no "wait, I don't have one on me".

Tap

Write the link to an NFC card or sticker. Hold a phone to it and the card opens. iPhone XS and newer and almost all Android phones do this without any app.

QR code

For phones without NFC: the camera scans the code and that's it. The same code can go on a T-shirt, a van or a shop window.

Mail

Send a real, designed card by email. Phones and text can be copied, and the contact also arrives as an attachment for the phone book.

Several cards

One person, several cards: for work, for a project, for everything you do. Each has its own link, colours and contacts.

How a digital business card works

  1. Build your card. Enter your name, company, phones, email, website and address, add a photo and pick colours. You can have several cards, for example one for work and one for a project.
  2. Share it. Write the link to an NFC card or sticker, show the QR code, send the link or email the card.
  3. The other person saves it. A page with your details and a "Save contact" button opens, and the contact ends up in the phone book on iPhone or Android.

Why a digital business card instead of a paper one

Frequently asked questions

Does the recipient need an app?

No. The card opens in a browser and the contact is saved with one tap. iPhone XS and newer and almost all Android phones with NFC read the card without an app, and others can scan the QR code with the camera.

What is an NFC card and where can I get one?

It is a small card or sticker with a chip (e.g. NTAG213) that you write your card's link to. They are sold in web shops that sell NFC tags. You write to it with your phone, and Cimni helps you with that.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, both receiving and sharing. Writing to an NFC card is easiest from Android, and on iPhone with the free NFC Tools app.

Can the card be sent by email?

Yes. The recipient gets a designed card with text and numbers that can be copied, plus an attachment to save to the phone book.

How much does Cimni cost?

Nothing. Signing in with a Google account takes a few seconds.

Who can see my card?

Only people who have its link, QR code or card. You can turn the card off or delete it at any time, and search engines don't index it.
